All About Me!
My name is Nicole Yandura and I will be your child's teacher for the upcoming school year! I am very excited about all of the new things we will be doing in class, and I am extremely excited to get to know your child and your family!
I am a graduate from UW- Whitewater where I received my BSE in Communicative Disorders. I worked as a Speech Paraprofessional in an Early Childhood Special Education classroom for 4 years. While working in those rooms, I decided that being part of the "whole" child was important to me. That's when I decided to go back to school to obtain my teaching certificate. I attended Kendall College where I received my Early Childhood Teaching certificate along with my Special Education Endorsement. Most recently, I attended Northern Illinois University and I have completed my Masters degree in Literacy with a focus on ELL (English Language Learners)! This is my 9th year teaching in an Early Childhood classroom, and I enjoy every moment of it!
If that wasn't busy enough, I am married and have three children. I have
9 year old twin boys who just started fourth grade, and a 5 year old daughter who is attending Kindergarten this year. Time certainly flies, so enjoy the time you have with your children. If you ever need anything please email me and I will be sure to get back to you when I can!
I hope you have a wonderful year!
